Orlat or Cibiniensis (1319)

One of the oldest cities in Sibiu Surroundings, called “the village under the citadel”, Orlat was the former regimental frontier that guarded the border between Transylvania and the Country of Romania in the XVIII – century. There we will pass by Orlat Monastery, a mystical and blessed realm of the region.

Gura Raului

One of the most beautiful Romanian pastoral villages, a unique experience of the popular Romanian traditions where we can learn various crafts from our ancestors in the households.

Sibiel

Tourist village with a special charm. Here we will admire the world’s largest collection of icons painted on glass, contributed by all villagers. We will also visit one of the authentic households where you will discover why their orchards have never been chemically sprayed and fertilized.

Cristian

A short visit to the evangelical fortified church that was built on the site of an ancient Roman basilica in the XIII century near Cibin river surrounded by hundreds of storks that have returned from their long journey.

Cisnadioara

The most preserved citadel built in a romanic style in the XII century, this fortified church it is impressive in its grandeur. You could easily see how it risis on a hill amidst the apple orchards. Here we will have the tasty dishes of the area while we admire this wealthy Saxon village with its picturesque mountain landscape.
